Birth Anniversary of Savitribai Phule 💐💐 Savitribai Phule was born on 3 January 1831 in the Naigaon district of Maharashtra. She was born in a family of farmers and at the tender age of nine, she was married to 12-year-old Jyotirao Phule. Savitribai Phule worked all her life to facilitate women's education and the abolition of discrimination against people of different genders and castes. She wrote the famous poem 'Go Get Education' to encourage the backward and oppressed class people to get an education.

On the Occasion of Balnatya Mohotsav organized by Ravindra Vidya Prasarak Mandal .🎭 The play Hamlet Presented by Ravindranath Tagore English Medium school, "Hamlet- is a colodance" is a classic drama in English literature written by great Novelist William Shakespeare.The drama was presented only in the short duration Just in 40 minutes which was impossible to cover the full story of Hamlet. But the task of displaying Hamlet was achieved successfully. 🏆R.T.EMS Got Second prize as well as Best Director, and Best character performance of King.🏆 The Chief guest for the Programme famous Marathi Actor Mr. Chinmay Udgirkar and Tv Serial Director Mr. Sanjay Jhankar appreciated the winners.

RTEMS Fort Making Competition
Forts have been a pride of Maharashtra and over several years they have been existed in the state. By giving the message of protecting forts, students of Ravindra Nath Tagore English Medium School took to making fort replicas. The message was conveyed through a fort making competition, which is quite prominent in the state. The students make exact replicas of various forts that stand strong in Maharashtra and also drew beautiful rangolis around it. The students were divided into groups for the competition and they came out with flying colours With a motive of giving more information about the various forts that they made.

Ganesh Chaturthi, It marks the birthday of the beloved elephant-headed Lord Ganesha.Ganesha is known as the God of wealth, sciences, knowledge, wisdom and prosperity, and that’s why most Hindus remember him and seek his blessings before starting any important work.
This festival is celebrated with great devotion and joy by Hindus throughout the world.the festival has been celebrated since the time of King Shivaji. It was during India’s freedom struggle that Lokmanya Tilak changed Ganesh Chaturthi from a private celebration to a grand public festival where people from all castes of the society can come together, pray and be united.

“The birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, each year as a Hindu festival.
The Dahi Handi festival is a celebration of these pastimes of Lord Krishna as he was fond of breaking matki.Lord Krishna used to enjoy eating curd, milk and makhan.
The festival of Dahi Handi is celebrated across the nation on the day after the birth of Lord Krishna.”

Firti Vidnyan Prayog Shala @ RTEMS
Ravindra Vidya Prasarak Mandal’s Ravindranath Tagore English Medium School in collaboration with Savitribai Phule Pune University has organised Firti Vidnyan Prayog Shala. Live experiments were shown with students participation .A short play based on science and its concepts was performed by the team members .Co-ordinator Dr. Sanjay Dhole and his team members explained the effect of liquid nitrogen on living and non -living things by showing various experiments with live demonstration .The main aim of the team was to create interest and curiosity of science among student.Special thanks to Mr. Pravin Joshi Sir and his team for giving this opportunity to our school.Our president Mr. Manoj Pingle encouraged all the team for the successful event.

Staying healthy
Annual sports week has begun from 16th November, 2021, Tuesday in Ravindranath Tagore English Medium School. Different athletic events were taken under this. The sports week began with national anthem. The Olympic torch was flamed by the vice-president of Ravindra Vidya Prasarak Mandal and coordinator of English medium school Mr. Vasant Raut. Saraswati poojan and lamp lighting was performed by all the dignitaries. The sports week ended with cultural events under which guitar, drum, Casio and singing competition were taken. Students participated actively in all the competitions and enjoyed a lot. President Manoj Pingle sir and Raut sir has boosted and encouraged all the participants with their valuable words. Medals and certificates were distributed to the winners by Manoj Pingle Sir and the dignitaries present for the event. The programme was great success with the efforts of Principal Pallavi Nikam, Supervisor Vaishali Jagtap, all teaching and non-teaching staff.
Sports at RTEMS
Cricket at RTEMS is an integral part of the total high school program. Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of tournament that will enhance their experience.

National Level Teams
RTEMS participates in the Interschool League (ISL), which consists of 50 schools of approximately the same size and athletic strength. Our school has professional teams in various games at National level.
Selection Criteria
In order to participate in a team, students need to pass a physical examination. Letter of certification is awarded to successful candidates.

- Pass through mental ability Test
CRICKET keeps us healthy, gets us up and running around for bowling and fielding. It also gives you an opportunity to meet a lot of different players from various school, which is very important.
